Situated in Bellingham, WA on a beautifully treed site with a year round creek, Bayside Montessori offers a truly living environmental laboratory where peaceful interactions and problem solving skills are modeled and taught.
The classrooms contain children age three to six, six to nine and nine to twelve years of age. Today Bayside is the only school in Bellingham to offer a preschool through 6th grade Montessori experience for your child.
Creative explorations in the arts are valued along with math, language, and science. This assures every child a well rounded education. Each child receives individual attention balanced with small and whole group lessons.
Children gently unfold at their own pace and receive developmentally appropriate lessons when the lesson is right for her or him. The three year cycle allows the staff, students and classroom to provide stability and continuity.
